Free and offline GPS app
Currently, having access to GPS makes traveling much easier, and it is even more important to have access without needing the internet, especially in more remote locations where the signal does not reach.
MAPS.ME
The first application we brought is MAPS.ME, which is a navigation via GPS which presents an intuitive interface, in Portuguese, and does not require internet access to be used.
Once the application has been downloaded, it will automatically identify the user's location, and thus suggest a map of their region to be downloaded.
The app generates routes from one place to another using different means of transport, even if the user is in offline mode.
If the user indicates that they prefer walking or cycling, the application will also inform whether there are ups and downs on the route to make things easier.
Furthermore, during the journey, the application indicates interesting places to the user, showing photos and reviews made by other users.

GPS Brazil
The second application we present today is GPS Brasil, which features, as a distinguishing feature, the already installed map of the country. So, just download the app and go exploring the streets for 3D maps.

You can also choose to view the speedometer on the cell phone screen and carry out searches using voice commands, activating driving mode.
The app also features a database containing the locations of radars and speed control, helping the driver to avoid fines. Another feature of the application is the ease of finding nearby establishments.
If you have an internet connection, you can obtain, in real time, traffic information where you are traveling or the route you are going to take.

Sygic GPS Navigation & Maps
The third application we present is Sygic GPS Navigation & Maps, which is a navigation service designed to be used offline, but which also has some online features.
With it, the user must perform the download map of the region you want to travel, being able to choose by region or country. After downloading, the user will be able to browse the downloaded maps in 3D format, even without access to the internet.
The application can also indicate gas stations, restaurants, hotels and accommodation, tourist attractions and several other establishments.
In its paid version, the user can find traffic information, you can navigate via voice command, view speed information, and other functions.
