The National Social Driving License is part of a project by the Chamber of Deputies and the Road and Transport Commission whose main objective is to enable people from needy families to obtain a National Driving License (CNH).

Every year, Detran (State Department of Traffic) opens vacancies so that people from low-income families can qualify for a place on the CNH Social and obtain a license completely free of charge.

Furthermore, those who are part of the Federal Government's Social Programs can also be part of the Social Qualification Program, divided into Qualified Student and Qualified Citizen modalities. Intended for students and adults who do not yet have a driver's license.

Another requirement is to have a maximum income of two minimum wages and those who are unemployed, are public school students, people with special needs or small farmers can also apply for these vacancies.

How to register and be entitled to a free driver's license?

To register and compete for a place in the project, you must pay attention to the opening of the public notice from the Detran in your municipality. When there are vacancies available, if the candidate meets all the necessary requirements for registration, simply click on the “CNH Social Registration” tab, correctly fill in all your details and wait for the list of selected candidates from CNH Social.

When selected for the CNH Social, the person can also choose the category of the license, for example, category A, B, C, D, E and then just wait for more information to start classes.
